Hostal La Cigüeña

The room was clean and basically acceptable, but there are several things that could be better. The bathroom door has no handle, so it won’t close. There’s no coffee machine in the common room, and there isn’t a 24-hour reception, so you have to call to get checked in. Passable overall.

The rooms are cozy and spacious, with very comfortable beds, and some have lovely views. This well-kept hostel is across from the town hall and reasonably priced. It has an elevator and a drop box for leaving the keys on departure day. There’s no restaurant, though the bar next door is good for breakfast or a snack. It’s closed on Saturdays.

The place is affordable, and I was very satisfied with my stay. The facilities feel new, the staff are very friendly, and the rooms have simple but pleasant decor, a refrigerator, and a small balcony. Some rooms look out toward the mountains. There’s a little shared terrace with views that’s nice for breakfast, plus a common room with a microwave.

For a short stay, I’d highly recommend this hostel. It’s clean, quiet, and central, while still feeling peaceful, and the value for money is excellent. They answer the phone politely and are very attentive, offering all sorts of information and help. I have absolutely no complaints.
