Camping Sènia Tucan

The grounds and cottages were clean, and the staff were very friendly. The pool has slides that adults can use too, and it’s supervised during opening hours. Waiter Lucas even speaks a little Dutch.

We loved the restaurant, ate there nearly every day, and found the food and menu really good. The drinks list was great too, especially the delicious sangria. There were different shows each night, and during the day there’s a kids’ club with various activities. Our older kids didn’t use it, preferring the pool and slides. Hoacio, the lifeguard, kept a close eye on the pool, so we felt the children were safe. The pool area has a large main pool, a separate splash area for kids, a jacuzzi pool, and slides that children of all ages and adults can enjoy. There’s a gym on site as well. Our six-person cabin was just right for our stay, and the staff were attentive and excellent. Camping Tucan is in a quiet spot on the edge of Lloret de Mar, with two big supermarkets a five-minute walk away. They had everything we needed at reasonable prices. There are also a few good restaurants within about five minutes’ walk. It’s a great campsite for a family stay.

It’s clean, feels very safe, and the staff are friendly, so it’s a great spot for families. The WiFi was the letdown: it’s listed as free, but when I asked, I was told maybe one hour would be free and I’d have to pay for the rest of the holiday. It’s expensive for just one device. Free WiFi would have earned five stars from me.
