At Apartamentos Volcano, arriving after 10 pm means paying 20 euros just to have the key handed over. What a rip-off. Bring your own cleaning supplies too: the bathroom was disgusting, with hair in the tub. The lock was broken, so we couldn't open the door from either side, and most of the windows were filthy and wouldn't open properly.

You can get the basics you need in the apartments, but sleeping here was another matter. Traffic noise and the bar across the street made it impossible to rest, and at times the bar sounded like a nightclub. Definitely not a spot for anyone after peace and quiet.
