Carmen Gloria and Inervelio manage this charming country cottage in La Rosa, El Paso, and they were very friendly and helpful. The garden is beautiful, and there's a built-in barbecue. Inside, it has Wi-Fi, a TV, a kitchen and a refrigerator. It's ideally placed for excursions all around the island. The views are spectacular: Birigoyo, Bejenado and the breeze coming down Cumbre Nueva. You can also see the new volcano that erupted in 2022, about 5 km away as the crow flies.

We stayed for a week and loved how welcoming, comfortable and clean it was. It was completely peaceful, and we'd definitely return to the same place.

This is the best rural house I've stayed in. The service was excellent, and everything was very clean. Don't miss it! I love the island and its people.
