Villa Sila

We felt very welcome and well looked after at Villa Sila 2. Papa Víctor greeted us warmly and takes loving care of the beautiful garden full of fruit. David sorted out the arrangements and WhatsApp communication quickly and professionally. The place was the best accommodation we had during our time in the Canary Islands. It was spacious, with excellent amenities, including a modern, comfortable bathroom with a shower and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and remarkably sharp knives. We'd return in a heartbeat and wholeheartedly recommend it.

The garden's fruit and vegetables were delicious, and our host, Victor, was always available with help or advice. He speaks Spanish and really tries to communicate in English. We stayed 10 nights, and it was a dream. Villa Sila 2 is spacious, spotless, and has everything for a relaxing break, including a fully equipped kitchen with salt, oil, coffee, and a juicer. There's also full laundry facilities, which mattered to us with all the sports activities on La Palma. The communal garden has barbecue facilities, and the quiet setting is among banana plantations. Los Llanos is walkable downhill, though I'd recommend a car for the steep return. Hiking straight into the ravine is highly recommended. We highly recommend a stay at Vila Sila, and say muchas gracias, Victor! If we're ever back on La Palma, we'll stay here again.

Víctor was a wonderful host, always attentive and ready with suggestions for places to see around the island. The house has two floors, though we stayed upstairs, and it was very comfortable and clean, with everything in good condition. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, oven, cookware, and appliances, and the bathroom is spacious and well equipped. There's Wi-Fi, and the terrace has a table and chairs with views of the valley and volcano. The spectacular garden has plants, flowers, fruit trees, a barbecue, and a small fountain. From the upper terrace you can look at the island's sky and stars. A great choice, we recommend it one hundred percent.

We had seven wonderful days at Villa Sila 2, and Víctor, the manager, was always smiling and happy to help. The terrace views of the volcano at breakfast were spectacular, and the garden and barbecue area were beautiful. The night sky over La Palma was incredible too. The house was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed. It's a great option for visiting "La Isla Bonita" and contributing to the island's recovery. I highly recommend it.
