Right on the town square, this is a lovely, well-kept place with very clean facilities and reasonable prices. The owner was friendly and helpful. There’s no reception, but you can reach someone by mobile phone 24 hours a day. My mattress wasn’t anything special, though that’s about what you’d expect at this price. Highly recommended, and thank you!

I came from El Burgo de Osma after booking a house with a pool in Ametlla a month earlier. Everything had been confirmed, but the woman running the business sent me to this hostel and said it was the place I’d booked. I was absolutely outraged. Friends had stayed there 15 days before, and she knew who I was. I even mentioned the pool and that I’d been there years ago, but she still directed me to the hostel. I hope she’s an employee rather than the owner. You never know what you’ll get with these bookings. Even after telling her everything, she doesn’t remember.

There’s no elevator, which is the one clear difference from a three-star hotel. Otherwise, as someone who stays in plenty of hotels and hostels for work, I’d say this place is better than many three-star hotels. The hostel is comfortable and new, with plenty of parking nearby and several bars close at hand. Recommended.

In the Levant room, the double bed I was given was very small. The terrace doors wouldn’t shut, and the curtains were both too small and torn. With no elevator, I wouldn’t recommend the place to anyone with mobility issues.
