There’s no reception desk, but it was easy enough to arrive: call the number on the door and someone will get you settled. The owner was very nice, and they speak English fluently if you don't speak Spanish. The rooms were great and I had no problems. It was comfortable, affordable, quiet, and right in the middle of town, just what I needed as a budget-minded tourist. Thanks for providing a place like this. I was traveling by bicycle. You can leave a bike downstairs just behind the locked entrance door. If there are several of you, I’m sure you could carry them up to the second-floor space if you ask. A lot of the negative Google reviews seem to come from people confusing this hotel with the completely separate restaurant downstairs. They’re not the same place. Otherwise, I’m sure the hotel would have a 4.9 rating. Great place and a great price.

Room #1 had a comfortable double bed, a nicely sized bathroom, a TV, and wifi. Step outside and there are places to eat and drink close by. It’s a very good price for the quality, and I’d come back if I needed a room for a few nights in El Perello again.

The bar downstairs is very friendly. The hotel itself compares poorly with others, though. There’s no reception, so you have to phone the number on the door when you arrive and wait for someone to come over. If they’re busy, that could take a long time.

The rooms are clean and pleasant, though basic. There was no hot water in the morning. A fridge is provided, but no kettle.

The food at the resturante is very, very good. I’ll be eating there a lot while I’m in Spain at the villa. Good service and a good menu, with very good servie.
