Hotel Girasol

The pool area was spacious, clean, and safe, with the bar conveniently close by. The hotel is also less than a five-minute walk from the beach, with plenty of shops and restaurants around. My family had a wonderful time, and I’d recommend this place for families and older guests. I’d stay again if I visited the area. The food was great, with lots of choice, and lunch and dinner changed every night so the selection didn’t get boring. The staff were incredibly professional, welcoming, and down to earth. Fernando really stood out, and was very funny. The hotel had different entertainment each night, though the evening acts were a little brief and could have included something for children. Our room was a bit small and dated. It could use some maintenance: the bathroom handle fell off, there was a ceiling crack, and the air conditioning was poor. The beds were comfortable, though, and the 43-inch TV was bigger than the 32-inch ones I usually find in standard rooms, with a good choice of channels. The bathroom seems to have been refurbished in recent years and looked much better than the bedroom. Thanks to the wonderful staff.

The staff were always ready to help, including with booking excursions, and they made the stay comfortable and relaxing. We had a wonderful holiday at Hotel Girasol. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The all-inclusive buffet had food of every kind, with lots of variety, and everything we tried was tasty. The beach is close by, as are shops, bars, and restaurants. Thank you, Hotel Girasol and your wonderful staff, for such a great holiday! :)

My husband and I have just come back from ten days at Hotel Girasol, and we had a brilliant time. The dining room was very well run, and the food was absolutely amazing. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly and extremely helpful. There were plenty of sunbeds around the pool and on the terrace. The hotel is very close to the beach and well placed for shopping, with lovely walks along the promenade.

The restaurant food was very good, with plenty of variety and options for everyone, including vegetarians. Staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient. The hotel is about 200 meters from the beach. Rooms are just above average, and I thought ashtrays in the room were a thing of the past. The rain shower was the highlight, and the beds were comfortably neither too hard nor too soft. We had a large balcony. As far as I could tell, only first-floor rooms facing the generally quiet street have larger balconies. Recommended.
