The reception staff member was lovely and really helpful. She let us pick a different pitch and came by later to make sure we were settled. The pool was spotless, and the showers were hot with strong pressure and proper hot and cold taps. They were untidy, but not actually dirty. Still, we left after one night instead of staying the two we’d booked. The river view was great, though the pitch there was tiny, and people had set up camp beds on the spot assigned to us. Long-term residents seem to treat empty pitches as their own parking spaces. Grass cuttings dumped down the riverbank were rotting and smelled like silage. WiFi only worked in the bar. There are two bathroom blocks. The newer one had litter and toilet paper lying around. The older block, away from reception, has all three washing-up sinks and is very worn, with graffiti carved in and holes in some toilet doors. The place has the basics of a good campsite, but feels neglected because of the residents. One nearby pitch became a car wash for a while, and loud conversations woke us at 01:30.

After leaving Andorra, we stopped here for lunch and chose the €15.50 menu del dia. The food was tasty, the portions generous, and service was quick since the restaurant was quiet. We’d come back.

Lovely, quiet spot for camping, with very clean facilities and welcoming reception staff. Dogs are welcome too. The only downside is that the restaurant menu leans heavily on meat, if you need to eat there.

We got there after 22:00 and reception had already shut, but we were able to check in at the restaurant. At 15.45€ for two people and a car/camper for the night, the price was very good.

The river sounds lovely while I relax, and the #easybe dishwashers take care of the dishes. Perfect campsite.
