Aerohotel Barcelona Aeropuerto

The metro is just a five-minute walk away, so getting to the airport is easy, especially for a long layover. Staff were pleasant and responsible. The rooms are spacious, though sound seems to carry between them, and the breakfast didn't feel special for the price. Otherwise, things were about as average as expected.

The staff were friendly, and my kids even got little sweets while I was offered a glass of red wine. The room was clean and large enough for the three of us, with three separate beds as requested for me and my two teenagers. Communication before arrival was easy and helpful. It’s a new hotel, about a year old, and the price was reasonable. Getting to the airport took around 20 minutes by metro. For a night before an early flight, it’s hard to find a better option.

The hotel is close to the metro and sits between the city and airport, but there isn't much to see nearby. It feels new and well kept, and the staff were kind. The neighborhood and hotel were both quiet. One thing to know if you arrive late: my room felt cold, and I initially thought the window was shut. It turned out there could still be a 1-2 cm gap with the handle down. Lifting the handle, pushing the window, then lowering it again would have fixed it.

The hotel answered my emails quickly and got me checked in without delay. It’s very new, with great rooms, and the metro makes airport trips straightforward. The service was especially good from Rod. My only issue was being placed beside the elevator, which was quite noisy. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
