We waited 50 minutes for breakfast and left without getting our order. Meanwhile, a group of six who arrived after us was served before anyone even acknowledged our order. It felt unfair and frustrating, especially with no explanation for the delay. My partner and I had stopped in hoping for a quick, pleasant meal. The staff seemed disorganized, and the lack of communication has made me hesitant about trusting other services they might offer, like room service if this is a hotel. I won’t come back for breakfast or recommend it as a quick meal.

We had breakfast here three times and loved it. The croissant with homemade jam and coffee was delicious, and the fried eggs in a York ham roll were so tasty. They were the nicest eggs we’ve had. Our Spanish is limited, but the ladies serving us were welcoming, friendly, and really helpful. Great value for money, and it sets you up for the day.

The food was really tasty, and the staff were excellent. We came as a large group and had breakfast here twice. They were so dedicated and the service was great. Highly recommended if you want breakfast in Puerto de Santa Maria.

I keep coming back because the house has such a welcoming feel, almost like home. Maria at reception and Amanda and Candela in the cafeteria are gold. Best cafe con lece in town, and the tostada con aquacate is made in heaven. The apartments on the 3.floor have huge private terasse and beautiful sunsets. The rooms are simple and very clean, though the kitchen equipement needs an upgrade. I’ll be back.

We had a lovely two-bedroom apartment on the top floor, with a patio, and there’s a nice bar downstairs. Puerta Santa Maria is a great base for getting to Jerez, Cádiz, and other towns in southwestern Andalucia.
