The house itself has plenty going for it: the bedrooms are roomy, the bathrooms had towels, soap and a hairdryer, and the dining room fireplace and barbecue terrace worked well for our family group. But we were disappointed by the cleaning. Dust had collected under the beds, one towel was dirty, and there was dirt and toys behind a sofa. We also found the dishes and glasses less than clean, so we ran the dishwasher before using them. There was just one trash bag at first, though more were brought later, and the listing said there would be wine glasses, but there weren't any. We'd said we'd arrive around 7:00 PM, yet a cleaner was still working inside when we got there. The strong bleach smell and rushed feel of the cleaning made for an uncomfortable welcome. At checkout, we asked about staying until 3:00 PM instead of 11:00 AM. We were first told it would be €10 per hour, then the person managing the house quoted €75 until 3:00 PM or €150 to stay longer, citing Sunday cleaning costs. That felt inconsistent and unclear. We ended up paying €75 so we could have more time together, but were asked to pay outside the platform by Bizum or bank transfer, which didn't inspire confidence. The host later apologized, though the handling still felt unprofessional. It's a large, welcoming house with potential for groups, but the cleanliness and unclear pricing left us unsatisfied.

Really nice, spacious house, with a fire pit, ping-pong table and barbecue terrace. The beds were the one thing I'd change. The mattresses felt a bit soft to me, though that's personal preference. Otherwise, it was luxurious 🤗

The patio was the best part for us. We had breakfast outside and spent lazy afternoons there with a glass of wine. The Casa Rural is in a quiet part of the village of Rourell, a nice escape from routine and a chance to enjoy the countryside. The house felt cozy and well cared for, and we had an incredible weekend with friends. Our host was attentive throughout. I left something behind, and he sent it to me by mail right away. Highly recommended!

Our weekend flew by, so we'll definitely come back for longer. The house has so many thoughtful touches, and once you walk in and open the doors, everything feels just right. The rooms have air conditioning and a heat pump, the mattresses and pillows were comfortable, and the place was spotless. Even the kitchen had a capsule coffee machine and capsules. There was plenty of firewood and charcoal for the fireplace and barbecue. Josep was attentive the whole time. Everything was ideal, 100% recommended. Thank you, Josep!!

Having the key on my phone was a great feature. The five bedrooms were simple and a little cold, though each had air conditioning and heating. We had to watch which units were on at the same time because the circuit breakers tripped quite easily. The house is spacious and comfortable, with a pleasant living and dining room, a decent kitchen with what we needed, and a patio barbecue. It also has two large, well-equipped bathrooms. An excellent country house near Tarragona.
