Spectacular!

The village is a lovely place to spend a few days unwinding. If you enjoy rural surroundings, there are some beautiful, charming spots to explore. We stayed in the cozy, well-located two-story house for three days. There were outlets everywhere, and the rooms were clean and lovely. The bed was so comfortable I slept soundly. Highly recommended!

The town is worth returning to, with its butcher shop that has everything at reasonable prices, the castle, the viewpoint, and friendly people. But we’ll look for different accommodation next time. We booked the lower part of the house, and Desiré was kind, but the property needs serious maintenance, with so many issues piling up that we won’t stay there again. There were only three chairs for four people, the TV remote didn’t work, and there was no wardrobe. One room had a bed made from two mattresses that sagged. A light switch and a bedside lamp were broken, and the clothes drawer was dusty. The kitchen didn’t have enough dishes. The sandwich maker came apart, and the only frying pan had a handle that stuck to your hands. The bathroom tap leaked underneath, so we had to scrub the floor each time we washed our hands. Only hot water came out, and just one of the hydromassage column’s six jets worked. The railing up to the terrace was loose. Upstairs, the terrace had no lights or the pergola shown in the photos, just an uncovered space for grilling. It wasn’t at all like the website description.

The price was the highest of all the houses in the area, which made the disappointment even worse. I can’t give it a lower rating, but I wouldn’t recommend it. It was dirty, damp, and smelly. The kitchenware was sticky and unclean, and the sunroom was dirty too. The TV was so loud you could barely watch it, the armchair swallowed you up, and the awning shown in the photos was missing. The stairs felt dangerous, half the lights didn’t work, and the hallway light stayed on 24/7. The agency managing the place hasn’t fixed anything. Another guest complained 11 months ago, and it’s all still the same or worse.
