There are plenty of sports and facilities for kids, so families may rate this place more highly. We don’t have children, though, and felt we were paying a big premium for things we didn’t use. We paid £29 per night in late September, plus £7 each night to park beside the car, and ACSI wasn’t accepted. The wash and shower facilities were standard, the free Wi-Fi didn’t work at all, and there were no particular views. It’s not near the beach or town either. We’d just come from a delightful site with a pool and lovely views for £20 a night. At a lower price, I might have rated this one better. Surprised by the reviews.

The site and the price for two adults, a motorhome and EHU were fine. But out-of-control teenagers were noisy until 11:30 and spoiled the stay. A teacher, maybe, told me they could make as much noise as they wanted until midnight. Reception didn’t care.

There’s a good range of accommodation, and plenty for children to do, including parks and swimming. You can also use the gym and tennis facilities or hire bikes. I stayed at the site for a music festival and enjoyed the restaurant’s food and drinks.

We’ve already started planning another visit. On our return stay we had a pleasant time, although for eight nights it would’ve been nice to get fresh laundry midweek. The Deluxe bungalow was enough for what we needed, and some small cleaning products would’ve helped. They placed a stag weekend group right next to us, and they were noisy, but thankfully they were only there for the weekend. The little supermarket on site could be much better stocked, though there’s a mercadona down the road. On our first visit, we rented a cabin at the beginning of September. The campsite is in a lovely spot with lots of walks nearby. The beds were super comfy, but the nights were chilly and we could’ve used extra blankets. We used the pool on sunnier days; it was brisk, but lovely and clean. Remember swimming caps. The kitchen had enough utensils and the shower was fantastic. The site was generally quiet and people respected each other, but our neighbours were noisy late at night and early in the morning. We were glad when they left.
