The beach is right across from this well-located hotel, and there are several restaurants and cafés within walking distance. Rooms are spacious, with a practical layout and a well-arranged bathroom; they also have air conditioning and a safe. The style is a little retro. The TV isn't a smart TV, so there are no TV apps. Sound carries through the rooms, too, so you hear people walking past and chatting. At 3 am, that's not good.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel on the beach. The breakfast in the hotel bar was excellent, and the waiter was the kindest we've met so far while walking the Camino Norte.

Carmen at reception was the highlight for me. I was travelling alone, and she was extremely kind and understanding when she helped me sort out a problem. The room was lovely, and so was breakfast. My room looked out over the sea and harbour. It's a wonderful hotel in Oviedo in Spain, and I thoroughly recommend it.

The location is really good and the views are great. The hotel seemed in alright condition, and it's an okay place to stay. One thing to know: our king-size bed had just one long pillow. Sharing it wasn't ideal, and I didn't want to deal with asking for another one in the middle of the night. If that sort of thing bothers you, check with reception first. I suppose I could have asked them to change it.
