Pardela Menorca Hotel

The shared kitchen upstairs was a nice extra, and the room itself was comfortable, a good size, and really nice. What held it back from a full five stars was the construction directly across the road, sometimes starting around 7:30 in the morning. It’s not the hostel’s fault, but it looks like the work will continue for a while. I also went up to the roof expecting a town view and found a gigantic cell tower right in the middle, which takes away from the atmosphere.

The bathroom was massive, so I did wish it had a bathtub. Still, the decor was tasteful and the stay was great. It feels much nicer than a three-star hotel.

When the Corona-Lockdown was announced during my stay, the people here did a lot to look after me and the other guests. They kept us up to date with government announcements, opened the rooftop terrace for guests, and let us use the kitchen for free, although that’s not usually included. The owner was especially helpful and caring when I had to arrange a flight home, even accompanying me to the airport and taking care of returning my rental car. The cleaning lady brought water every day and was such a friendly sunshine. I was also moved to a bigger room without asking, since we had to stay inside all day. I can’t thank them enough, and hope to return when I can. The hotel is well organized, with good communication, modern and nicely decorated rooms, comfortable beds, and very good cleanliness. It’s also in a great spot, with the seaside, supermarkets, a bakery, and restaurants all a short walk away. Pardela was an absolutely exceptional place to stay, especially given the circumstances. All the best to everyone there!

The owner's sincerity and goodness really come through. Everything feels well thought out, and the rooms and decor are lovely. A great place to stay.
