Rural Son Granot

Everything was arranged in a friendly, professional way over Whatsapp. We skipped breakfast, so we didn’t have much contact with the staff or owners, though we did meet the lovely cleaning crew. Son Granot Rural Hotel is a little oasis away from busy streets, and it was just the quiet, easygoing September break we wanted. Our room was simple, lovely, and clean. There aren’t many rooms, so the number of guests felt pleasant. The pool and breakfast area were beautiful, with a garden looking out over distant fields. There was loads of free parking, and the welcoming foyer had information plus local snacks and drinks for purchase. There’s also a restaurant on site, run by another business, so you need to reserve ahead if you want dinner nearby. We’d stay again.

Mario, the host, and the team at San Granot were the highlight. They and his family were warm and welcoming, like the family you always wished for, and you could feel how dedicated they were to giving guests a personal, luxurious stay in Menorca. Many thanks and best wishes to Mario and his family. We’ll be back soon. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean, with a lovely rustic feel that suits the setting. We enjoyed walking around the grounds, and the fresh breakfast was delicious. The restaurant in the hotel was elegant and delightful. It’s also a quick walk to a harbor with tapas, pizza, and gelato.

We’d love to return. We spent a wonderful week at Son Granot, where it was peaceful and quiet, and everything was kept as clean as possible. Breakfast was a very high standard. Mario and the team were brilliant and incredibly hospitable, doing everything they could for us while still giving us plenty of freedom to relax.

Our room was on the small side, but cozy and full of the hotel’s authentic charm. The pool was great to use after a long day of sightseeing, and breakfast was varied and good, with eggs freshly prepared by the host. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Hotel Son Granot is in a calm, peaceful area. A big thank you for the warm hospitality. I can’t recommend it enough if you’re visiting Mallorca, near Mahón.
