The pool has very little seating, and the edge needs much better protection given the height. It should be fully enclosed, not just have a simple balcony style barrier. The elevator key card system is ridiculous. Someone asked me every day if I knew how to use it. The location suited me because it's about 20 minutes by taxi from the airport, though getting to the center takes 30 minutes in traffic. For a first trip to Barcelona, I wouldn't recommend it. I also thought the room and location were pricey. One evening someone set off the fire alarm, and staff never checked afterward or apologized.

It's a nice, new hotel in a good neighborhood, with a lovely panoramic view. There are two highways right under the windows, but the windows do a very good job of keeping the noise out. Lidl is right next door, handy for picking up cheap local food.

What a nightmare. Check-in took 60 minutes, then I got a tiny, claustrophobic room. I was moved to a “bigger” one, but it hadn't been cleaned after the previous guest. After 60 exhausting minutes, I'm still walking around.

There wasn't much choice for food nearby, and the hotel is farther from Barcelona than I'd expected. A taxi to the center costs about 15-20 €. I was disappointed with the place, which had only opened three weeks earlier. From the garage I couldn't take the lift to reception because it needed a key pass, so I carried my luggage up the stairs. There was no TV remote in my room. Reception told me none of the TVs were working yet. The restaurant wasn't finished, so breakfast wasn't available. Another Hotel ABBA is a ten-minute walk away, but there isn't much choice there either. I shared my feedback with reception. They said sorry, but their attitude was basically that it was too bad.
