The service was friendly, and the hotel seemed to be full of student groups. It's basic, and one of the few places I've found where you need to bring your own gel and shampoo. There's no 24-hour reception, though the staff live there.

The hotel's best feature is its location right beside the lift. Rosa at reception was very kind. The room was okay, though it didn't look especially clean, and the hotel itself is very basic. Food was a letdown: breakfast had few choices, just ham and cheese, no eggs, cold bread and no toaster. Dinner wasn't tasty either, so I wouldn't pay for it. During the day, the only water available to buy is in tiny bottles from a vending machine.

Parking in front of the hotel was plentiful, and the helpful staff kept the clean, adequate rooms in good shape. It's a very basic place, but if you want somewhere cheap right on the slopes, it does the job. Breakfast could be better. For the price, you can't expect a lot, though they should add at least a microwave for the option of a hot breakfast. To eat out, you'll need to drive to the very small town 2km away. You can walk, but I wouldn't recommend it at night. Only one restaurant was open, though it was worth the trip. I was disappointed by the ski resort too: it has just one restaurant, and while I was there the wind closed all the higher lifts, leaving only one descent slope open.

I'd only recommend staying here if you're trying to get those ski or snowboard hours at Espot. The rooms were dirty, with lots of broken things, and the service was really bad. The food was the worst I've ever had. I can't understand how anyone could mess it up that badly.
