With the window open, we could hear people talking loudly in the square below until 2am, then again from 8am. We only managed to make the room bearable by opening it and switching on the fan, because it was unbearably hot and impossible to sleep. The AC supposedly ran for 20 minutes before switching itself off, but once we got to the room it did not work at all. Staff did not come up with a solution. In mid-August, guests should get the service they paid for, and a broken AC needs to be dealt with.

Good.

The waitress was so friendly and attentive, and they even let us bring our dog into the restaurant, which we really appreciated. The meal was homemade and delicious, the sort of food you can tell was made with love. We'll come back next time we're nearby. 🐾🍽️

The food was really good and the atmosphere was lovely. We did feel the €4 wine corkage charge was excessive, though. In the morning, we visited the Aldahra winery (spectacular, by the way) and received a complimentary bottle for lunch. The lady called ahead to say she'd given us the bottle, but they still charged us.

There were lots of people eating here, locals as well as tourists, when we stopped for a quick breakfast. We got a Spanish omelet slice and a sausage sandwich, which was easily enough for two. Both were spectacular, with fresh bread and top-quality ingredients. The service was friendly and attentive too. You can't visit Estadilla without trying this lovely little restaurant.
