Pension Buen Camino

It's right on the street that follows the Camino de Santiago, so the location is perfect. The place feels cozy, almost like home, and has everything you need. The shared bathroom was very clean too. A lovely spot to sleep and rest after a long day of walking.

We found the location very quiet, and the host checked in with us twice to make sure we'd had our questions answered. Our double room was exceptionally clean, and the shared bathroom had hot water and was clean as well. It was a great stop for the night on the Camino, and we'd happily stay at the Pension Buen Camino again.

I spent two nights at Buen Camino while recovering from a knee injury I got a week into the Camino. The hosts were wonderful, and I felt at home straight away. They'd thought of little extras like shampoo, body wash, a hair dryer, clean towels and tea. In the morning, breakfast was set out just for me, with fresh-squeezed orange juice. It made me feel like a queen. I can say you'll be well looked after here. This is the best place I've stayed so far on the Camino.

We had a fantastic two days, thanks in large part to our magnificent hosts. The pension is central, with clean, comfortable rooms and a roomy shared living and breakfast area, plus a shared shower and toilet. It's only two minutes from the bus station, so Buen Camino works well for a two or three day stop. After walking to Los Arcos, you can take the bus back, or head forward if you're stopping at Puente la Reina. At €2, the fare is much cheaper than sending your bag up the Camino. I'll be back in May 2022 with five of us, and with two double rooms and one single, it'll be like hiring a house. Fantastic place.
