My room got unbearably hot after the AC stopped working. I contacted security, but was told nobody was there to help, maintenance wasn't working, and I should contact whoever I rented from. I explained that I had rented it from them, but got nowhere. After a week with almost no sleep, I ended up on the living room sofa. No stars for this experience, and I wouldn't book here or elsewhere in Spain based on it. There was a Spanish phone number in the room, but no local line, WhatsApp contact, or other way to reach anyone if you don't have a Spanish number. The room came with one small bottle of soap and a few accessories, and we had to buy replacements and most other things ourselves. The washing machine's dryer just spun for hours without drying our clothes. Getting there was a mess too. With roads closed, we spent about an hour driving around the city to reach the hotel. A taxi from the hotel in the city of Espinoza to Malaga airport costs around 150 euros. The highway had security blockages every ten minutes, and you could only pass by paying 10 euros. On a 100 km route we may have had to stop and pay ten times. Driving felt frantic, with fast cars and little patience, so you had to stay alert. The prices were steep: 30 minutes on a jet ski was 100 euros, and one shisha was 70 euros. I wouldn't recommend Spain for tourism. It's very expensive. No thanks.
