Hotel La Creu by RdA Hotels

This was our second stay, and we'd happily recommend it for clean, comfortable rooms at a very reasonable summer price. It's a handy base for exploring the surrounding mountains on adventure bikes. The staff don't speak much English, but Google Translate helped us communicate, and they were especially helpful about keeping our motorcycles secure.

Breakfast was below average, and the staff's handling of checkout felt very unprofessional. The sign said checkout was at 12, but they knocked at 10, then a cleaning lady came back an hour later with a bucket and an annoyed look, reminding us she was waiting. We were leaving on Monday, so it wasn't as if guests were waiting for the room. Our first-floor room also had paper-thin walls: we could hear the bar downstairs and the rooms beside and above us. The room was old, and the bathroom smelled moldy.

The town is quiet, and there are tasty restaurants within walking distance. We had a great view of the stream beside the hotel, and the Wi-Fi signal was good. Staff were kind, breakfast was great, and free parking nearby was available each time we parked. A lovely hotel.

The river-facing rooms have a really nice view, and the central spot on carrer major is still calm. You can get drinks and tapas indoors or outside. For the low price, breakfast is included and you get a lot, though the beds could be better.
