A wonderful old place, very comfortable and spacious, and not to be missed. Andreus was helpful and friendly, and €50 was a superb price. There's a great bar right next door. We highly recommend staying here, the one to choose in town.

The quiet surroundings stood out to us. Even with shared rooms, we slept well, which isn't always easy in a hostel. The place was also exceptionally clean throughout, from the rooms to the shared areas. We came for a winter weekend of mountain activities and went snowshoeing with the ELKARREGAZ women's group. Our six person room was tidy and well kept, so sharing it felt comfortable. It was warm when we arrived, a real treat after a day in the snow. Albergue La Cuculla suited our plans well. It feels welcoming, functional, and very well maintained, and we'd especially recommend it for a winter break with a group.

The service was excellent, and my top floor room felt roomy thanks to the high ceilings. Breakfast was simple but fairly priced. I'd come back. I'd rate it 4.6.
