Hostal Otsoa

Sara, the manager, greeted us so kindly and shared loads of tips for the area from the start. We stayed two nights, and couldn't have asked for a better experience. We were about to visit a waterfall that afternoon, but she let us know there was no water there and suggested a route with spectacular views of Ezcaroz and Ochagavía instead. Great idea. She also mentioned a concert at a nearby campsite, which turned out to be a great experience. The room was spotless, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom just right. There's also a parking lot, so we didn't have to search for a spot, plus complimentary breakfast. Nothing else nearby opens until 9:00 a.m., so it was especially useful. It's simple, but plenty to get the day started. We'd definitely stay again if we're back in the area.

It's a pretty, well-located village, though small and without any bars. The hostel itself is new, clean, and looked after. The advertised breakfast isn't really included breakfast, it's complimentary rusks with jam and coffee in a small room. Fine if you're bringing your own food, but the refrigerator is very, very small for all the guests.

Sara was friendly, efficient, and attentive to every detail, and her help made a big difference. We had parking and a complimentary breakfast, both much appreciated. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We visited the Irati Forest and stayed at Hostal Otsoa, and couldn't have picked a much better place. The location was excellent, and we'll definitely come back. It's well worth it.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean, with a mosquito net so you could sleep with the window open, plus good views and parking. Everything was great for us. Just so you know, the booking said breakfast was included, but when we arrived they explained that Booking.com only lets you choose whether to add breakfast. What they provide is a lounge with a capsule coffee machine, toast, and some complimentary pastries left in the room. It was enough for us and not a problem, but good to be aware of.
