The owner has clearly made a dream come true here, and I'm so glad I got to experience it. I hope I can return someday. She was so lovely and kind, and her dog Lola was a sweetheart too. I felt safe the whole time, even leaving my windows open at night. The little gnats can be annoying, so a citronella candle might help, but that's just part of the area. The setting feels like a wonderland, with natural plants and fruit trees all around, lots of paths, and places to sit and relax. There are several lovely saltwater pools, and my favorite was the one at the villa where we stayed. The grounds make it easy to feel surrounded by nature, while still having comfortable places to stay. I loved the yoga room at San Sion. I visit studios around the world, and few spaces have felt as special. It has arched ceilings, ventilation from all sides, bright surroundings, and a beautiful energy. The Manduka mats, blankets, blocks, and straps were all clean. The catering was incredible and nutritious, with fresh fruit, salads, delicious healthy desserts, and gluten-free and vegan choices as well as meat. I would've loved to bring the catering team home to cook for me every day. My room had high ceilings and a comfortable bed with king-size pillows. The rooms rely on natural, environmentally friendly airflow rather than air conditioning, so anyone who needs AC might want to look elsewhere. I was comfortable every night, with plenty of fresh air, and even felt chilly on some nights. I have a lot of allergies, but they didn't bother me during my stay. Room and pool towels are provided, but not beach towels, so bring a light towel or wrap for the beach. You'll also need your own soap. I prefer that, and it fits with the owner's effort to reduce waste. We always had clean water, from cold to hot, and dispensers for drinking water meant we didn't need to buy lots of water in plastic bottles. The internet worked well for my online work, which I need to do. The location is convenient for beaches and town, with a grocery store about a mile away. There's also a short uphill walk to a beautiful monastery with 360-degree views of the area, and it's a good base for driving in pretty much any direction around Mallorca.
