I picked Felechosa and Hotel Peña Pandos for the mountain hiking access, and it hasn't disappointed. The hotel is clean, quiet, and comfortable, and my hosts have been very welcoming even though we don't share a language. Today Richard even drove me to the start of a hike, which otherwise would have meant arranging a car shuttle.

Skip the breakfast, but stay at the hotel. It costs extra and isn't worth it: the bread was hard, and the only things offered with it were Spanish ham (prezunto) and butter. No cheese, even here in the mountains, which is almost comical. There was cake too, if that's your kind of breakfast.

The owners are very friendly, and the service is excellent. The room was spotless and heated, with parking available and a perfect location for skiing. Breakfast was generous and inexpensive. We'll definitely return.

The owners and waitress were so warm with us, they made us feel like family. We stayed five days and were delighted, and we'll definitely come back when we're in the area. The place was very clean and welcoming, with everything needed for an easy stay, including a little fridge, really comfortable beds, and plenty of parking. The service was wonderfully friendly.
