The food was very good, and breakfast was delicious. Service at both the restaurant and reception was excellent. Cristian deserves a special thanks for being so approachable, friendly, and professional.

A great spot for a comfortable, convenient stay. The location is fantastic, and the rooms and shared areas are good.

Javier’s warm welcome is hard to get past when you walk into the bright reception, with its mix of old world elegance, charm, and modern comfort. He went out of his way to make sure my wife and I were comfortable. Ownership should give him a raise; every hotel needs someone like him as the first person guests meet. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and that sense of cleanliness runs through the whole hotel. The restaurant has charm of its own, and Raul was just as welcoming. The food was amazing: I had the mixed salad and monkfish, both superb. My wife swapped the tuna for goat cheese in her mixed salad, and said it reminded her of some of the best goat cheese she’s had in Paris. Her entrecôte was cooked how she wanted. She rated it about 8 out of 10, but enjoyed it enough to order it again in a heartbeat. Wholeheartedly recommend this place. Stay for a drink or a week, you won’t regret it.

Gran Hotel De Ferrol was a peaceful, comfortable place to rest during my trip. The service was great, the rooms were clean and tidy, and the bathroom was lovely. Its heater adjusts the temperature automatically, so it doesn’t feel chilly in winter. My one suggestion is to replace the regular TV with a Smart TV, since people want wireless connections with their home appliances these days. I’ve always thought of Europe as a cozy, peaceful place, and this was a very good place to stay and enjoy a sweet vacation. 🌍
