We were four people starting the English Way in Ferrol, and the rooms had everything we needed for the night. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind: after we left keys and a t-shirt in one room, they called us and arranged to post them to our next hostel. They even followed up later to ask if we’d received them and how we were getting on along the Camino. A 10 out of 10 from me!

There was plenty of space in the clean room, but the bathroom was tiny. Even getting in was difficult, and using the shower was just as awkward.

For pilgrims walking the English Way, this is a no-frills place that does the job. Our double room was basic and very spacious, and it was spotlessly clean. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the start of the walk.

They waited up for me to check in after midnight, which I appreciated. The room was clean, the location was good, and the value for money was excellent.

The receptionist was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the location is great. If you’re setting off on the Camino de Santiago, you can get your pilgrim’s credential at the residence and have it stamped there too.
