Apoteka apartaments

The apartment is large, bright, and well equipped, right in the center of Figueres. They provide towels, toilet paper, shower gel, shampoo, and cleaning products, and there's a Dolce Gusto coffee machine. The bed was comfortable, though the pillows felt a little flat. There isn't an elevator, and the stairs are a bit narrow.

Getting there by car takes some planning since the apartments are on pedestrian streets. The nearest street is La Rambla, a block away. Driving is prohibited, but that stretch has two lanes and you can stop briefly. The closest parking is about a five-minute walk. There is no elevator, and the highest apartment is on the fourth floor. The apartments are very clean and well located. The bathroom is spacious, with a good rain shower, and the kitchen is large and well equipped. There's one bedroom with a double bed, plus a sofa bed in the living room that surprised us with how comfortable it was.

I left feeling disappointed and pretty angry. As soon as I got into the shower, the hot water ran out within 10-15 minutes. At night there was a LOT of noise from outside, which made it hard to rest. Across the street, a beeping sound kept going every hour or hour and a half without stopping. It got very tedious. Also, two windows opposite the dining room and kitchen look into other people's rooms, which felt unpleasant and especially uncomfortable.

The apartment was very cozy, almost new, and right in the center, with good natural light from outside. It was clean and had all the details covered. We made a good last-minute choice and will come back. Curtains on the windows would have given us more privacy.
