Casa Soraya

Firgas is a small village up on the slopes, and the house is just above the Firgas fountain. There’s a very good restaurant about 50 meters away, handy if you’d rather not cook or drive. The mountain roads in Gran Canaria might suit you if you liked driving in Corsica. Casa Soraya is right in the center of Firgas. Downstairs there’s a living and TV area with a sofa bed, a kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower. The mezzanine upstairs has a double bed and opens onto a little terrace with a table, chairs, and a jacuzzi. Everything was clean and well equipped. Soraya and Antonio welcomed us warmly, and Soraya even bought toys for our grandchildren, who are 4 and 6, from the nearby shop. She doesn’t speak French, but we speak Spanish, so that was fine. We’d highly recommend staying here.
