You basically get a bed and bathroom, with clean towels, and I felt safe and secure. Keep in mind that it feels more like renting a room than staying in a hostel. There's no shared space or facilities to use, though the description does mention that.

The location was excellent, really close to central Salamanca. Self-service entry was thoughtfully set up, and the hotel's directions and contact information were clear and complete. The price seemed okay, but for just a little more there were many good quality three- and four-star hotels, so the value for the service here was all wrong. A huge mistake. The facilities were the worst. The entrance door slammed loudly, and the rooms had no soundproofing. There were lots of nearby bars, but closing the windows wasn't an option with Spanish summer temperatures and no cooling in the room. The ceiling fan was useless at night when it was over 30ºC.
