The villa had the basics we needed and a cute patio for coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. It’s a peaceful spot with an amazing pool for days when you don’t fancy the beach. The little one-bedroom villas/apartments are about a five-minute walk from the souther beach, where restaurants and bars are dotted along the shore and a wooden deck makes getting around easy. We rented a moped for the week to visit other beaches on the island. I’d suggest having some kind of transport, as taxis can soon get too expensive.

The service is the best part, especially with Vicente there to help whenever you need something. I stayed six days and found it a lovely, pleasant place to relax. The rooms are comfortable, with air-conditioning, a mini kitchen, and a small living room. It’s within walking distance of the beach, and the prices are reasonable compared with other places in Formentera. As elsewhere on the island, you need a moped or small car to get around. When I didn’t feel like going to the beach, the swimming pool was a great alternative. I highly recommend it.

The pool and surrounding area are pretty and clean, and the complex is quiet and well cared for. It’s also right by a lovely beach. The holiday flats are sparsely equipped and have thin walls, so you get a close-up glimpse of your neighbours’ lives whether you want one or not. The beds were low quality and incredibly uncomfortable.

We came as a family this time, five of us, and it worked perfectly for the kids, even if the place isn’t idyllic. The pool was amazing and the staff were very, very friendly. The only thing I can complain about is that when we opened the bathroom window, there was trash right in front of us. Maybe that was just our room.
