The café beside Can Micalet was one of the best in the area, with proper specialty coffee and tasty, healthy breakfast choices, including options for me as someone who’s gluten free. We skipped the included breakfast but went to the café every day. The staff were lovely and went out of their way to help with things like booking taxis and sharing local recommendations. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, with a great bed and a shower with excellent temperature and pressure. It wasn’t warm enough for us to swim, but sitting by the pool in the morning was nice. The calming lobby set the tone from the moment we arrived. The location is great if you don’t have a car. We walked from the ferry, and a quick 15-minute taxi took us to other towns. There’s a beach nearby, plus some great restaurants, even in low season. If we return to Formentera, we’ll absolutely stay at Can Micalet again.

The spacious, comfortable rooms and the pool and lounge area were lovely extras. Can Micalet really made our trip. The staff were so kind and attentive, and the location was perfect. We also loved the delicious food at the hotel’s café. I’ll definitely come back and tell everyone visiting Formentera to stay here!

The location couldn’t be better, with everything we needed close by and the port just a short walk away. The apartment was beautiful, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, it felt like home. The cleaning team did an outstanding job every day. Syrcia and Nicolas at the front desk were fantastic, warm and welcoming, and always ready to help. The restaurant staff were lovely, friendly, and attentive, too. We’re coming back! Highly recommended :)

We didn’t book breakfast, but tried it one morning at the café next to the hotel that serves the hotel breakfast. It was very nice, with lots of options. The room was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed, including a small kitchen. Room service replenished the bottled water every day. We spent four nights at this incredible boutique hotel, a peaceful haven with only a limited number of rooms, perfect for a relaxed, romantic island stay. The service was excellent, attentive, and helpful. We arrived before check-in and could freshen up using the amenities, then relax by the pool until our room was ready. The pool in the center of the hotel was a highlight, with sunbeds on either side. We used it every day to cool off after the beach. There’s public parking a five-minute walk away, where you can park free for five days by taking a ticket from the machine. It’s handy for exploring the whole island. I’d warmly recommend Can Micalet, a clear 5 ⭐️ rating!

The staff made this stay for us. Anna, Cynthia and Zara were so warm and genuinely caring. My husband, our baby and I spent over a week here and had a wonderful time. The rooms were beautiful and spotless, and we loved the pool. Definitely the best place to stay in Formentera. Can’t wait to come back!
