We spent five days here in August and found it very good value, especially if you're after a low price in Formentera. It’s central in Es Pujols, just a few metres from the beach. The rooms are dated but clean, with a bathtub and small terrace. For a one-star hotel, we couldn’t expect more, though I feel one star is a bit inadequate and it deserves more. There can be evening noise, though closing the windows makes it less noticeable. Scooter parking isn’t right nearby, and the road closes in the evening, so the closest parking is 400 metres away. That didn’t bother us, but it seemed worth mentioning.

The hotel is 50 metres from the sea on one of the main streets in Es Pujols, so it’s very convenient to head out on foot. It’s tucked behind a clothing and accessories shop, but that didn’t affect how much we enjoyed our stay. Lina, who runs the hotel, was kind and helpful right away with anything we needed. Our room was clean and roomy enough to settle in. Definitely recommended.

Avoid this place if you want to sleep. The rooms are tiny and have no soundproofing, and the value for money is appalling. Breakfast isn’t included. Music from the Argentinian restaurant next door goes on until 3 a.m., then the nearby open-air nightclub/bar carries on until 4 a.m. Definitely not for you.

Yes, dear hotel owner, you’ve clearly thought carefully about your reply. One thing I wanted to add: even half of what I paid for three stays of two nights each at your four-star hotel would have been too much. I didn’t book because of the price or the last-minute offer, as you called it. You were the only ones with availability, and honestly, I can see why. I’ll say it once more and leave it there: the service would have been exactly the same at the full price, not just on a last-minute offer.
