Hotel Bahia Formentera

Loved it! The food was superb, and the receptionist was so friendly and accommodating. Great sea views and gorgeous yachts from the excellent location. Prices are very reasonable for Formentera. I'd happily return and highly recommend it.

We stopped for tapas and a drink before catching the ferry back to Ibiza. The tapas was fantastic, the pasta outstanding, and the staff were really friendly. Great view of the marina too. We'd definitely come back.

The breakfast was very nice, and the breakfast and reception staff were both friendly. The bar employees, though, made us feel unwelcome every time we entered as hotel guests. They shouted questions about whether we were staying there and insisted reception had to check our right to enter. There was also no sound insulation in the rooms. You could hear every door slam at any hour, even with earplugs. Cleaning started at 8 am, and the beds being moved added to the noise.

Not a child-friendly place. Our three-year-old badly needed the bathroom, but they made him wait ten minutes, then came out with lazy excuses to send him away again. The hotel next door was much kinder and helped him straight away. I'll never stay there. And about their response: saying they're the hotel, not the restaurant, doesn't make this any better. I never mentioned the restaurant. Is reception part of the restaurant and not the hotel? Just one lazy excuse after another.
