Hotel Maysi

I visited at the tail end of summer, and still had a wonderful stay. The staff were caring and really friendly, the island is beautiful, and the location is perfect. My room looked out over the sea, which was such a pleasure. Thanks especially to Frederico, Erika, Nico & Carla. I'll definitely be back!

The location is incredible, and the recently renovated hotel looks good. It's a shame the rooms have so many issues, especially at the price. The bathroom is tiny, with nowhere to put a toiletry bag, so I had to leave my things on the bidet. There aren't any wall hooks for clothes or towels, either. Worst of all were the mattresses, far too hard for us to sleep comfortably. During our five days, we never made it through a night without waking up. These seem like small things that could be fixed, and I'd definitely return for the location if they were.

The views were gorgeous, but the food was so nauseating they weren't worth it. We waited 50 minutes just to get bread, and only after asking. Then the chicken nuggets arrived mostly raw. The servers were rude and didn't understand our concerns, and we were charged for the food anyway. I wouldn't recommend eating here in Formentera. Don't come.

The view was amazing, but our meal was a real letdown. We spent about 90 minutes waiting for and eating food that took ages to arrive, and the chicken nuggets were raw inside. The rest of the food was okay, but service was poor and far too slow. Maybe we were just unlucky, but with only a few hours left in Formentera, it was truly disappointing. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant, despite the gorgeous view.
