The outdoor pool deck has amazing views, the facilities are clean, and the staff were nice and helpful. But there's a big issue nobody seems to talk about: they use so much chlorine in the water that, to me, it wipes out any healing benefits the natural hot springs might have. After soaking for an hour, I felt like I'd need a full year to recover from the chlorine exposure, and a detox after this Spanish “health resort.” Strangely, neither the people running the place nor the visitors seem bothered by it.

The baths were red hot and felt great for unwinding. I’d been worn out after a lot of travel, including a 32-hour drive from the UK to Spain without stopping overnight, then two flights there and back in just over a week, business events and more driving. The AI suggested coming here, though I’d visited before. It’s a really nice place to relax and recharge, with magnesium, calcium and sulphates in the water, which are good for you.

We spent just a few hours here in February, and the warm mineral water was really satisfying. There are a few pools to choose from, one at 27 °C, another at 37 °C, plus a cold one. You can also use the jacuzzi, which runs on a schedule.

The baths were good, though crowded. Most people stayed in the hottest pool, so we tried all of them, including the cold one. We still had a good time, but the staff didn't help make it that way. This place has a lot of potential, though they seem unwilling to listen to customers or make changes. Our room was spacious and had a decent bed, but it wasn't the terrace room we'd booked. They said all those rooms were full, even though the hotel didn't seem at capacity, and we'd booked directly. There was no view, no phone charging socket in the room, and a constant flashing light on the smoke detector. We could hear every little noise from other guests. The bathroom had two sockets, but its toilet was wedged beside the tiny shower, making it unsuitable for plus-sized people. I didn't report the detector because the staff had already been unhelpful. Service started badly at reception: the staff member gave us a key but said she couldn't check us in right away. It turned out she just didn't want to because she was nearly finished for the day. They weren't rude, but they were unhelpful afterward too, and seemed bothered by requests that should have been covered already. We saw other guests complaining, which didn't surprise us. Breakfast was a joke, a bit like Faulty Towers. We got one roll each and were told we could toast them, then one small dish of tomatoes to share. I let my partner have it and had jam instead. They made a big show of serving half a cup of coffee, and after I waited around 10 minutes for milk it was cold. They also fussed about a couple of juice cartons, telling us not to take them to our table. Anyone with a big appetite will leave hungry. The outdoor baños are included, but the indoor ones aren't, even though they're the same price. We were told either one costs 19€ or both together cost 42€, which makes no sense to me. The swimming cap policy was a mess too. People wore caps without securing their hair and nobody said anything, but men with short hair were told they had to wear one. Nobody mentioned the rule on the phone, then they tried to charge 4.50€ or more per cap. I'd buy one before coming. You can bring your own drinks and snacks, since the snack bar is overpriced, closes before the baths, and seemed to have little on offer after 4 pm.

The pools were great, even if the place itself is really old-fashioned and kitschy.
