Casa Rural El Cano

The heated pool was amazing, especially since the weather kept us from enjoying the terrace. We also made paella in the barbecue area. The house was fantastic, with a roomy kitchen and a living room with a fireplace. They’d left us snacks, sweets and fruit, which was so thoughtful, and everything tasted delicious. I’d highly recommend it and would happily stay again.

We had a really comfortable stay, even though we were concerned about heating. The fireplace and the heating in the upstairs bedrooms kept us warm. Wi-Fi worked perfectly, but there was no cell phone coverage, so calls had to be made through WhatsApp. There was lots of parking outside, so that was easy, and when we asked to extend check-out a little, the owners were happy to let us. The house had everything for a weekend away or a longer stay. The owners stayed in touch and were very thoughtful, leaving chocolates, candies, fresh bread, fruit, chocolate croissants, bathrobes and slippers for everyone in the bedrooms. There was plenty of firewood for the fireplace too. The kitchen was very well equipped, with oil, salt, dishwasher tablets and even ice in the freezer, plus a couple of bottles of wine. The paella pan was excellent and had everything needed for any kind of rice dish. There was also a grill for meat and butane gas if you wanted to cook outside without much fuss.

Everyone had a fantastic time, especially the children, and we’ll definitely return. We had a spectacular weekend at El Cano country house. The house had everything we needed, so there was no need to bring anything from home. It’s an amazing place, with a heated pool, spacious bedrooms and a large living room with a fireplace and television. The welcome was incredible: a huge tray of sweets, three loaves of sliced bread, a tray full of fruit, bags of ice, wine, butter and jam packets enough to feed an army, a bottle of cava, chocolates on arrival and firewood for the barbecue.

The garden was beautifully kept, a lovely place for breakfast, lunch and other meals, and the pool was spectacular. The house was amazing and exceptionally clean. What really stood out was how thoughtfully they welcomed guests, with trays of sweets, fresh bread and seasonal fruit. Thanks so much for the hospitality.
