It has such a peaceful, intimate feel, and the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The mountain and sea views are breathtaking, the room is beautifully decorated, and the infinity pool is great. Highly recommend.

The fruit trees around the area were full of amazing fruit when I visited, and for once I wasn't the biggest, most interesting fruit around. The hotel has beautiful views, a varied and tasty breakfast, and a lovely infinity pool. Evenings were wonderfully quiet. Just be ready for a steep 15-20 minute walk down to town. Breakfast is the only food available here, so pick up snacks at the shop beforehand, and expect to walk or take taxis a lot.

This was our second time here, and this time we stayed for a week. It's a peaceful place, with clean rooms, lovely views of Frigiliana and the sea, and very nice, helpful staff. We had a small air conditioning issue, but they sorted it quickly. It's well placed for visiting Malaga, Velez-Malaga, and the coast beaches at Nerja and Herruderia. The road is quite bumpy, so be careful if you're driving a sports car, though it was manageable in our convertible Mercedes. If your car sits lower, go another km and turn left instead, that way is fine. Don't take the shortcut. Best of all, they accepted my Nemo Golden retriever. Perfect place to stay, and we'll be back.

We liked this place so much that after our travel plans fell through a few days later, we came back and added more nights. The rooms were adorable, clean, spacious, and had stunning views. It's far enough from town noise but close enough to walk, and we fell in love with both the hotel and Frigiliana. Breakfast every morning was delicious, dinner at the Avo was great, and the drinks by the pool were just as good. Service and food were wonderful. Huge thanks to Mery for the great recommendations and hospitality. We'd absolutely return.
