Breakfast was fantastic, with eggs, fruit, yogurt, cheese and bread to choose from. The staff were really friendly and always tried to fit our needs. The rooms were clean and very well equipped, too. Such a charming, lovely hotel. I’d absolutely come back and highly recommend it. A++++

I found the service lacking, even though the hotel was clean and perfectly adequate. Check-in is online and the place is unmanned, with only minimal contact at breakfast. Since a travel agent had booked my stay, the check-in instructions came from an unknown number. I felt sharing my passport details with an unfamiliar phone number and website was a huge security risk. I didn’t have a car, which made getting to restaurants difficult.

The island’s beauty blew me away, and this lovely hotel made the stay even better. The rooms were comfortable, quiet and very clean, the staff friendly, and a delicious breakfast was included, which is hard to find elsewhere. I wouldn’t hesitate to return to El Hierro. Thanks, gracias!

This was my second time visiting El hierro and staying at Geko Hotels, and I’ve loved it both times. The service and hospitality are great, and everyone is helpful, especially Yli, who helped us work out the perfect plan for exploring the island. Can’t wait to come back. Definitely recommend.

The people here are lovely and go out of their way to help. Breakfast is ten stars, and there’s a really nice shared terrace with seating and hammocks. The hotel is in a small village near wonderful hiking and biking routes. Having a car is best. Perfect.
