The indoor pool area with its sauna and steam room was lovely, and we had a west-facing balcony that caught plenty of afternoon sun. We’ve been to hotel Angela three times now, and this visit was for three weeks. The staff were friendly and worked hard, with entertainment every night. There was lots to choose from at breakfast, and the food was excellent. I don’t eat much meat, so I especially appreciated how good the fish was, with salmon, cod, plaice, hake, perch and other kinds appearing over the weeks. The room was good, and the bathroom was a decent size, though there’s nowhere to store toiletries apart from the area around the basin, so it gets cluttered. I also found it odd that there wasn’t a liquid soap dispenser by the hand basin. Some shelves or a small storage unit would help. Looking forward to coming back to the Angela soon!

The staff in the dining room were especially good, and Juan was there to help with our luggage when we arrived and whenever we went out. Our first stay at Hotel Angela was a happy one. The beds were very comfortable, and the walk-in shower with safety rails worked really well for seniors. Marian, our room attendant, was cheerful and looked after us well. Jose was super-efficient, while Christina was so attentive and had the loveliest smile. Boxing Day was a treat, with plenty of snacks and drinks. The staff in their Christmas outfits made it fun, and whoever wore the Grinch costume deserves a medal.

The housekeeper was really lovely, and all the staff were friendly. Our room, though, looked nothing like the brochure. It was very tired and needed attention, and the bathroom door looked like one on a summerhouse. We couldn’t change rooms or upgrade because the hotel was fully booked. A different room was possible two days later, but moving then would have been a real pain, so we stayed where we were.

The hotel is right across from the beach, and our balcony got sun all day. The room wasn’t large, but it was adequate, with a lovely big walk-in shower. There was plenty of food to choose from, and the staff worked hard. The atmosphere throughout was relaxed and enjoyable. We spent 10 days at Hotel Angela in Fuengirola and had a truly wonderful stay. I’d asked in advance for a high-floor room if possible, and they were able to arrange it. Everyone was efficient, friendly, and welcoming from check-in. Sophia at reception greeted us warmly and gave us really helpful information, and Altana in Reservations made sure our requests were handled with great attention to detail. We couldn’t have asked for more, and would highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Fuengirola. We’d love to return 🤗

We loved our week here at the end of March. The rooms were perfect, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was superb. The indoor pool, sauna and steam room were lovely too. We’ll definitely be back.
