The apartment was small, with no air conditioning, and the sofa was very dirty. There wasn’t a blanket, and the internet didn’t work. We complained, but nothing was done.

We were two families, four adults and four children, in this beachfront apartment. It’s well placed for a night out, whether for a stroll, ice cream, or dinner, and the pool was more than adequate. The apartment is ideal for two families or eight people. We were put off at first by the cleanliness, which wasn’t quite right. One toilet couldn’t be used because the button was stuck, and the shower in the other bathroom drained so poorly that water came up to our ankles. The listing said there was a coffee maker, but there wasn’t one when we arrived. To avoid any problems with the deposit, we went to the real estate agency that rented us the place and showed the young woman sitting on the left as you enter some photos and videos. She wrote down the issues and said someone from maintenance would come by the next day at the latest. The following morning, a young man fixed everything and brought us a brand-new coffee maker still wrapped in its box and plastic. Because of the initial problems, I can’t give it five stars, but we’ll definitely be back!

After a 19-hour drive, we reached the apartment and were appalled by what we found. I think the pictures speak for themselves. Even after a thorough clean, it wasn’t worth the €1,300 rental price for 14 nights. We booked through booking.com, but the address listed was for key collection. When we arrived, that address was wrong, so we had to drive somewhere else. If you don’t have a car like we did, getting around those routes is a real problem. We had to find a hotel for the night at our own expense, and we’ll see what happens next.
