Casa Rural Las Jañonas

Gata's narrow streets are full of flowers, and don't miss the natural pool. The house is just a few meters from Plaza de la Constitución, with plenty of bars and activity around, while everything inside was very clean. The rooms are nicely decorated and come with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, a hairdryer and TV; the kitchen and living room are shared. Breakfast is included, and you can also have lunch or dinner at Gastro bar Los Portales, owned by Rosa and Javi, the owners of Casa Rural las Jañonas. Their food is delicious, and they've just deservedly received a Solete de Repsol. The staff are quick and attentive, and Rosa was especially great. We had a small issue that isn't worth going into, except that Rosa sorted it out right away.

The house is two minutes from the main square, and breakfast is included at the bar there, which is handy. We were very happy with our stay overall. The three rooms are fully equipped, each with its own key for privacy if you're sharing with others, and have a bathroom, air conditioning, radiator, double or twin beds, and TV. There's plenty of room in the kitchen and living room for meals, simple cooking, a board game, or a chat. It has a fridge, microwave, stove, and extractor hood, and the staircase across its three floors is in very good condition. A couple of small things: the showers are fixed overhead, so you can't move them to keep your hair dry, and one bathroom had no sponge or soap. Some kitchen basics were also missing, like paper towels, oil, salt, or a few utensils.

Breakfast is included, from migas to toast, and it was all delicious. Rosa was wonderful, both when welcoming us to the house and at her bar, Los Portales. We had the first floor, with a cozy room, comfortable bed, and good lighting. It's right by the town square. It's a shame we couldn't use the lovely kitchen because of Covid restrictions. If we come back, we'll definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything.

The owners were so friendly, and breakfast was really good 😋😋. The house is spread across two floors: downstairs there's a living-dining room with an open kitchen and a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Upstairs are two more double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The rooms are very spacious, and the kitchen is well equipped. Everything was excellent.
