The stay was decent, but the house could use some remodeling, and I don’t think I’ll return. Wi-Fi barely reaches beyond the living room, so once you leave that area you’re cut off. The kitchen is very basic, with an old countertop, missing glasses, no sharp knives, and faucets that need replacing. The sofas are old too. Most upstairs bedrooms were fine, but one has only a curtain at the entrance. A drywall partition and door would give it some privacy. One of the upstairs bathrooms also has a broken shower head.

It was a great stay in a beautiful country house. The one issue that didn’t take even a point off my rating was a clogged upstairs shower that leaks water. And, haha, I’d call a shower curtain in the pool bathroom a necessity so it can be used properly. Otherwise, magnificent.

It’s a traditional country house, with all that comes with one, and it’s in an exceptional location. A fantastic place to switch off for a weekend.

We’re back for the third time, and we still love the place. It has everything for a few relaxing days with friends and a chance to unwind.

Ambrosio, the owner, was very kind and attentive. The farmhouse is well kept and equipped, and the setting is beautiful. We had a very good stay and would recommend it.
