The quiet mountain setting was what we loved most, with plenty of hiking and running trails nearby. Mercedes and Vicente, who live on the first floor, were warm and welcoming, and Mercedes can speak English if you don't speak Spanish. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, two opening onto their own terraces, and the kitchen has all the plates and equipment you need in generous supply. The old Spanish villa has a lovely feel, a spacious tree filled property, mountain views, and a pool for cooling off or lounging in the sun. It was a great place to switch off from everyday stress. Thanks for a lovely six day stay!

The children had a great time in the play area and pool, and Vicente and Mercedez made sure our family had everything we needed. We stayed five nights in July 2014 with our four children. It's a lovely villa with superb mountain views, and we hope to come back.

There are great walking routes around here, and Barx is only 1 km away for a meal or a drink. The Parpallo caves make a nice walk too. A lovely place to stay.

We came for three days to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday, and had such a peaceful time together that we'd definitely repeat it. The pool is fantastic, spacious and tucked into a private, tree surrounded part of the property. The gardens are lovely for a stroll or for relaxing close to nature. Inside, the house is comfortable and has all the amenities, with three large mountain view bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom. Our hosts were a lovely, helpful couple. Thank you, and see you next time!

The owners live downstairs while guests have the upstairs, and we still had our privacy. The house feels cared for, from the well kept furniture and comfortable beds to the tasteful decor. It's fully equipped, and warm in winter too. A lovely home in a beautiful setting, with very friendly hosts.
