Villa Mas Tranquila - A stylish villa with pool 150 m from the beach

The location is peaceful, with a short walk to the beach, shops, a cafe and restaurants. Conil is a longer walk or a quick taxi ride away. The villa, garden and pool were beautiful, just as they looked in the photos. Every room was thoughtfully set up, with comfortable beds, plenty of wardrobe space and a well equipped kitchen. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

The villa’s laid back luxury, as Jemma put it, sums the place up nicely. The hosts were helpful with requests and recommendations, and the town of Conil, with its restaurants and little shops, is a short taxi ride or a 20 minute walk away. The beach and local restaurants are close by too. There’s plenty of space inside and out, lovely bedrooms, and a pool area made for lazy days in the Spanish sun. Everything seemed to have been considered to make the stay better. It’s the most perfect villa.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Mas Tranquila, and I can’t recommend it enough. Rick, Jemma and Javier were quick to answer questions and incredibly helpful, from suggesting places to visit and eat to helping us book restaurants and bodega tours. The villa is in a lovely quiet spot among trees and gardens, just a stone’s throw from a beautiful beach. We enjoyed sunrise walks and sunset drinks there, and could take in both from the upstairs rooftop terrace too. It’s spacious but cosy, modern but homely, and beautifully styled. The beds were so comfortable, and the terraces, garden and pool were stunning. We stayed over Christmas, and the decorations made it feel extra special. The kitchen was generously equipped for anything from breakfast to a more involved dinner. We also really appreciated the big bowls of home grown oranges and the breakfast supplies left for us. The villa, its location and the lovely service from the owners made this a perfect place for us.

As interior designers, we were amazed to come across such an undiscovered gem in the south of Spain. The attention to detail at Mas Tranquila Villa is outstanding, and staying there really is a treat for the senses. We’d recommend spending a couple of weeks there, and you’ll understand the magic of the place. Thanks for being such great hosts!
