Hotel Boliña

At 35 degrees and above in midsummer, there wasn't even a fan in our room, and it didn't feel clean. Noise from other people in the hotel and the busy street went on at all hours, so getting a decent night's sleep was impossible. The whole stay was unpleasant, and the place isn't worth the price, even if it seems relatively low. Better to pay a bit more for a much better stay, or buy a tent and camp.

I slept great. The place was clean enough, comfortable enough, had a proper hot shower, and I saw no sign of bed bugs. For one night on the Camino, it was totally fine. I don't understand the really negative reviews. What are people expecting for €50 a night, luxury?

The room had a very old shower with barely any pressure, a broken toilet seat, and plenty of noise coming up from the bars and streets below. Just before bed, a woman was screaming in the hotel bar downstairs, and an ambulance arrived shortly afterward. We spent the night worried about bed bugs after reading reviews, but thankfully didn't find any. We were only passing through on the Camino for one night. The building and rooms are very old, and you have to check in at the bar because there's no reception. There's a bed, but don't expect a good night's sleep. We wouldn't recommend it.

The worst part was the bed bugs. I saw a review about them and should have taken it seriously. I was bitten through the night, and the sheet had blood stains from my back. In the morning, I saw several bugs crawling between the sheets and blankets. The shower head also fell on my head several times and leaked water all over the toilet above the shower door.
