The rooms are really small, and we struggled to find space for our luggage. But the sea view from the bed was breathtaking, and the place had so much character and soul. It was probably the most original accommodation on our trip, stylish, rustic, and locally authentic. Pensión Katrapona sits right in the old town overlooking the harbor, with a location that's hard to beat. Free parking down by the harbor was a real bonus in this area. A lovely choice if you like an atmospheric, authentic stay.

We had an amazing stay, and the staff welcomed us so warmly. Room number 15 was one of the best we've ever stayed in: spacious, clean, with wonderful views, and it even smelled great. Definitely try their delicious breakfast!

The family who own and run the hotel gave us a wonderful welcome. We loved the harbour and sea views, the comfortable beds, and the hot water. This was one of our very favourite stays on the Camino Del Norte while walking the Camino de Santiago. There's a great fish restaurant just downstairs. We had a fabulous dinner outside looking over the sea, then it was only a one-minute walk back to our room. Can't recommend it enough.

A lovely quiet place for a couple to unwind away from the crowds, right by the Atlantic Ocean. Getaria, a Basque village, has plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops, and the breakfast is homemade. A stay here is not to be missed.

I spent a night here while walking the Camino. The price felt fair for what we got, and the room was clean, with a decent bed and a nice sea view. The location in Getaria is very good, with lots of good restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly. I'd come back.
