A family-friendly campsite.

Bungalow 11 was clean, but it really needs a full renovation. The floorboards were loose and noisy, the bathroom was only so-so, and the beds were uncomfortable because of the frames, not the mattresses. The chairs also felt unstable. For the price, I expected better. The kitchen had what we needed for a few days. The rest of the campsite was clean and well cared for. The playgrounds are small but nice, with one really fun slide and two that are just okay for the kids. The bar food was very good and reasonably priced, and the man running it was friendly and attentive. Check-in and checkout at reception were straightforward. We stayed in a bungalow, so we didn't use the service area. With better bungalow accommodation, the site's upkeep and location would make it worth a stay.
